Retail Acumen intend to limit our impact on the environment.

In our offices we have adopted a recycling policy that has resulted in a 300% reduction in the amount of waste that goes to landfill - the mantra being reduce, reuse, recycle - with waste separated into compostable, paper and card, plastic, glass and aluminium. Additionally, used printer toner cartridges are sent to charities that can earn money from recycling them and selling them on.

Where possible we are migrating all of our lighting across to low-energy, we exclusively use LCD screens due to the considerably lower energy consumption and we even operate triple A energy rated appliances in our office kitchen!

Our print settings default to draft, black and white, double sided only and printing is kept to a minimum, as we strive to achieve less paper based materials in our offices, in our communications and in our promotional activities.

Where we use paper based products we aim to ensure they are made of recycled materials where possible, that they meet FSC standards, and that they are not printed with materials that make them non-recyclable in future.
